KOW Sec¶

KOW Sec module implements Authentication, Authorization and accounting.

It supports multiple authentication and authorization backends at the same time and is highly extensible.

Development¶

Right now we are working in a complete redesign of the module (as for other modules in the KOW Framework). The goals for the next release will be

• OpenID support (client and server)
• The User type won't be tagged anymore
• To compensate not being tagged, the user will have means to store extra data
• All data types will be renamed using a stronger naming convention
